Lyra Flower shop responsive
website
I generated the UX & UI design in a period of one month for Lyra Flower Shop where I applied my knowledge of UX design to create an easy flow that was easy to understand with the aim of purchasing bouquets of flowers, and floral arrangements. In order to obtain a purchase flow that is easy to navigate, it was necessary to carry out surveys to get to know the user and propose in a better way what their needs are when accessing a florist’s website and find the opportunity for improvement.

What are the opportunities for improvement?
Users do not have enough time to be able to get flowers or floral decorations to personalize their spaces, it is necessary to generate the convenience of buying and scheduling an order online.
- Users need to schedule their orders to be able to continue with their work without affecting their schedules.
- Most users use their cell phones to access web content so they need responsive websites that adapt to their devices.
- Users need to have different payment options to make payments from their mobile devices or PCs
The solution
Design a responsive online shopping site that facilitates its use for different customers who do not have the time to order physically because they do not have space in their schedule or they have a special activity that they would like to order a flower arrangement and feel comfortable using a site that allows the use of various payment methods and ease of use on their phones. All of this was necessary for the design of Lyra Flower Shop.

Methodology
The Design Thinking methodology is a tool that fits perfectly to understand the company, user, and the digital product that is being worked on, using tools, tests, and deliverables that belong to the user research process, prototyping, and usability testing it is possible to develop a high-quality product.
In order to establish the bases for the web store, it was necessary to documentusers and make the proposal for the first screens
In the process of research and approach of the solution, it was necessary to generate a User persona, User Journey Map to understand the flow that needed to be raised to generate the best experience for the user, this gave rise to the first wireframes that then generated the complete interfaces for the prototype. Below, part of the documentation is shown.
The areas that I improve focused
in the needs of flower shop
customers
Make arrangement reservations
flowers according to the agenda of the
user and availability
the flower shop
With the focus of helping users, it was necessary to locate the reservation area accessible so that clients can carry out their process in a simple way, for this reason, it was placed under the banner to capture attention and facilitate the first step for the reservation of flower arrangements or bouquets.
The section is shown to facilitate the
use of different methods
paid
It is necessary to allow users to enter multiple payment methods as some are limited by region, bank, or card brand and this is a problem for users who have their trusted debit or credit cards.

The website must adapt to the
user devices
Many users are more familiar with the use of their mobile devices to access multimedia content, web pages, or carry out online procedures; that is why it is necessary to create a version adapted to mobile devices so that they can easily make the purchase of floral arrangements without any general difficulty.
Mockups
Aspects to take into account
For the website it is necessary to take into account opportunities such as adding a section of short videos about floral arrangements in social networks such as TikTok in order to encourage the creativity of customers and generate a more human side in an effort to generate conversions from clicks to customers in a very simple way, it is also necessary to take into account accessibility options such as alt images, dark theme to help visually impaired people in order to generate a pleasant experience for consumers.
What did I learn while designing the Lyra flower shop website?
In the case of this online store, it helps me to understand that customers need simple processes where they can easily view the products, place an order through cell phones, customize their floral arrangements, and choose the payment method that offers them the easiest. The focus for this type of store should be to facilitate the process with the least amount of instruction and with the most possible clarity to generate a satisfactory experience.
